Dear Members,
As promised, we strive to deliver meaningful documentation and training to our members. We have been working hard to narrow down and define the exact needs to ensure compliance with the Outsourcing Guidelines that MAS has recently communicated.
Based on Maroon’s proposal that the AIAM Committee has just accepted, these are the expected deliverables to the Members: -
BY MID DECEMBER 2016
1. Template checklist (on a risk based approach) for all members to evaluate their existing outsourcing arrangements against the MAS’s guidelines;
•The Checklist will help members to identify the necessary improvement that is required for their policies and/or procedures.
BY MID JANUARY 2017
2. Submission of First Draft of generic outsourcing policy(ies) and procedure(s) that all members can adapt to their requirements;
3. Draft template generic board approvals regarding the said policy(ies) and procedure(s);
4. Draft template checklist with an integrated reporting template for submission to MAS if necessary;
5. A draft template for board approval regarding the outsourcing risk.
BY MID FEBRUARY 2017
6. Maroon will conduct a training session on the implementation of templates to members.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to the AIAM Committee if you have any questions or comments on committee@aiam.org.sg.
Best regards,
