Dear AIWM members and friends,

Rejoining the committee after a two-year break, I am excited to see how AIWM has evolved. Our membership body has grown, both in terms of associate members and ordinary members and the committee has done an outstanding job in organising relevant events and workshops. As incoming secretary, I want to be your point of contact for any requests and suggestions. We have a vibrant, diverse, and welcoming member community, which I will work to further broaden in terms of numbers and deepen in terms of engagement.

Like many industries, we are witnessing accelerating technological and regulatory changes, which affect us all. In this context, I encourage you all to join the first AIWM Independent Wealth Summit on April 3, 2025, which is being organised in partnership with SMU and tackles this topic through Keynote presentations and Panel Discussions. The summit will feature inspiring leaders from the wealth management industry and a networking event with over 150 industry professionals.

I look forward to collaborating with my fellow committee members and external partners in providing relevant and forward-looking programming for AIWM events. My goal is to provide our members with events that offer a better understanding of how the evolving regulatory and technological landscape affects our businesses, and how we can embrace these developments to build high quality client offerings and robust compliance frameworks.
